Xi'an, 2013. Creative Director.
Contributing to the renovation and development of one of the most famous architectural structures in China, a dynamic concept of the public space was developed. Keeping the magnificent discipline and arrangements of the historic sculptures alive we integrated a more modern touch to them by adding kinetic media elements. The objective was to utilize the dynamic of water to generate movement within the giant sculptures. I integrated into the design interactive technologies to the storytelling objects, gateways and entrances to subway stations. Jeremy Railton and his great team at EDC supported the conceptual development in this challenging project.
